Last year was Claire's first holiday, and now she's such a big girl participating in the activities. Luke was more into the Easter bunny this year than last year, but still not totally all-in as I would imagine a kid to be. His thing is that he is easily distracted. He finds one egg and wants to eat that egg, or he finds his basket and is content with one dum-dum pop. The Easter bunny brought him a play-fishing rod though which he is obsessed with. Claire woke up before Luke again (like on Christmas morning) and found a couple eggs. She thought it was grand fun to smash the egg into the tile to watch the shell crumble and then chuck it across the room. She literally squealed with glee. I ended up peeling her chucked egg for her and she ate the entire thing in minutes, leaving just bits of yolk around her lips (which was kind of gross actually).
We headed over to Donna and Emil's house for Easter day festivities. We had a GORGEOUS day. It was sunny and warm so we got to spend the whole day outside.

| Snuck in a quick boat ride since it was such a nice day. |
| Claire loved it until a nanosecond later she HATED it and wanted OFF THIS BOAT NOW!!! We then had a 20 minute ride back to shore with a screaming child. Hoping she gets more accustomed to the boat as the season goes on. |

| Our bounce house made an appearance, too. Orrin, Lila, Luke and Claire had a great time in that. |
| D&E gave Luke this "build it yourself" truck that he also is in love with. He puts it together with the drill and takes it apart about 10 times a day. |
Here are a bunch of other photos from the week as well as some cute extras I had on my phone:
| Sibling love. They are interacting more every day. |
| Claire likes to have a body part touching Luke whenever possible. |
| Claire crawls all over Spumoni and he doesn't care at all, he's such a sweetie. She actually loves his dog bed and lays on it almost as much as Spumoni does, with or without him in it. |
| We have her outgrown infant seat all ready to put into storage, but we haven't put it away yet because Claire loves to crawl into it and just chill out in there for a crazy amount of time. She loves it! |
| Open Lands hike where Dad got the heaviest load once Luke got tired of walking |
| It was a lot colder earlier in the week. One morning Luke insisted on going outside and "shoveling". |
| Claire loves her baby stroller. She likes to put her animals and babies in the stroller and give them a ride all over the house, then just as quickly she'll decide that's enough riding for them and dumps them on the ground, or in this case, carries them herself. |

| Double french braids. Totally normal to be able to give a 1 year old double french braids. |
