Carpenter Visit

So happy to get a visit with the Carpenters so soon after our time in FL with them AND in the Midwest to boot so we could show them our addition!

Friday night before Kristin & co came in town we went to our friends, the Gianakopolous's house, for dinner - the kids have so much fun with their kids Anthony and Alexandra, and we have a great time with Lisa and Steve

Brookfield Zoo

GORGEOUS day at the zoo with Tracy, Hayden and Nora!  The girls have so much fun together, it is awesome.

Saturday night we went to a friend's house for an awesome mid-April bonfire!

The kids had a sleepover at D&E's so Matt and I had a great brunch the next morning

After some challenges with our circle driveway permit, Matt expertly got to an approval by agreeing to this "walkway" between the two parts of the driveway.

The addition is almost done!  Landscaping is starting, we already have a bunch of new trees in.

Red Nose Day fun is back at Walgreens - every Friday we wear red and get silly!

The kids are crawling into bed with us every morning these days.  They are good snugglers,  but they also are sideways sleepers who kick!  On more than one occasion Matt has been pushed out of bed by these monkeys

Say goodbye to our old front door!  It is being converted into a window in short order.

Planetarium

This weekend we took the opportunity to visit the Planetarium for the first time ever since we had dinner plans in the city with the Meskins.  I had never been there either if you can believe it, and it was really fun!  Love how Spring has Sprung in Chicago, too.
