Boppin' around our home turf

August seems like a very long time ago as I write this from our not-so-fun November.  Second week of August, this is what happened:

I recorded a presentation for a Global Marketing Summit that was virtual this year.  The green screen and lights were kind of fun!  It went well.

Putting up a new slide off of the zip line platform

Mom and Claire beach date!

Swimming with Grandma Donna

Football with Grandpa

Donna played all the games with Claire in the pool for hours on end.

Complete!

Now some soccer

Enjoying the diving board at Lake Forest Club

Outdoor visit with the McCarney's

Breakfast at Eggspresso

Otto got to come!

Par King mini-golf - just me and the kids

Knocked hands with somebody at swim practice and bruised my finger really badly.

A couple days at the lake house before vacation!

Storm time!

This tree limb fell on the power line while we were at the lake house and we lost power.  Matt was able to get the car out of the driveway, so we just went home to Lake Forest.  Crazy!

A few things

Look at Otto's paw placement, yet Luke still sleeps.  lol!
Glad to have my engagement ring back after losing the main diamond stone to a loose prong (and finding it).  My Dad had just recommended I get my prongs checked and I didn't listen!  That will teach me:)  Matt got them fixed, prongs tightened, and stones cleaned.  They look brand new!

Weekday evening pool playdate

First haircut and highlights since March!

Friday afternoon date to the Botanic Gardens

We saw this glider on the way home from the gardens

Boat outing with the Steinbach's

Driving to the lakehouse and saw this gorgeous rainbow!  Had to pull over to get a better look.

A day at the lake with Anthony and Alexandra

Storm rolled in

All the toys in the garage

This is how Claire sleeps sometimes.  They still both crawl in bed with us in the mornings, and with Otto there too it gets really cozy.
