The Disney schedule was as follows:
Saturday: arrive
Sunday: Magic Kingdom
Monday: Animal Kingdom
Tuesday: Epcot
Wednesday: Pool day
Thursday: Magic Kingdom
Friday: Hollywood Studios - turned into another pool day
Saturday: leave
In the first installment of pictures we left off on Animal Kingdom day, so we're picking up on Epcot day. The week just flew by!
| Character breakfast at our hotel - Claire liked Minnie |
| Luke liked to look at the characters, but didn't want to meet them. He started putting his fingers in his ears when he was experiencing something he didn't want to. That meant loud noises at first, but then he started doing it when he wanted to pretend he was invisible. Goofy played along and put his fingers in his ears too! |
| Holding PJ"s Ariel doll |
| We had two strollers, so the kids rotated, but PJ and Luke walked for most of the time. |
| Luke pushing PJ around |
| This is the "Figment" that Luke and Matt created in Epcot. Luke likes Figment, didn't like the ride because it was dark, but did like creating his own little guy afterwards. |
| Dinner at the aquarium restaurant. We woke Luke up from his nap to go to this early dinner and he cried and screamed and begged to go back to sleep, so after trying to force it for a partial walk back to Epcot, we finally gave in and Matt took him back to the hotel to sleep while Claire and I met the rest of the clan. After another hour of sleep Luke popped up and asked to go meet the group. |
| Stories with Grandpa before bed |
| Pool Day!! Pirate ship slide at our hotel |
| It wasn't call the Beach Club for nothing! The whole place was filled with really soft sand. |
| There was a whole toddler area with a sand bottom that was awesome! |
| Milkshake time |
| different kind of milkshake:) |
| Luke wore his puddle jumper and this area was so shallow that he and PJ could play all over together with ease. It was awesome. |
| Our little balcony. We had tacos at home on pool day. |
| Going out for ice cream after dinner on the Disney Boardwalk. This is our attempt at a picture of the three of us, but of course the wild man won't stay put for a picture. |
| Almost got one! |
| But then...he's gone. |
| Magic Kingdom - second day! Princess shirt on for the occasion. |
| Jungle cruise |
| Two princesses |
| Tom Sawyer's Island - one of Luke's faves |
| Mom had food poisoning on Thursday and stayed home from Magic Kingdom :( |
| Amazing Cirque du Soleil show |
| Last full day! Three kids all together. We had to contain Luke for this to happen. |
| on the ferry |
| Hollywood Studios |
| Luke putting his hands in Mickey Mouse's. Awww. |
| Matt's favorite, the Rocketeer. We left soon after because it was really hot and there were no attractions that Luke could really do (or wanted to do). |
| Back to the pool for the rest of the day |
| Luke watching the other kids play the "Simon Says" game in a creepy kind of way. |
| Looking at the bubble makers under the sand |
| Last night - huge seafood feast dinner. All you can eat shrimp and crab legs. YUM! |
| This is what Claire did during the feast. |
| She woke up |
| Grandpa's:) |
| Claire was having fun kicking PJ's water cup when she set it down in the stroller cup holder. |
| PJ shared her rock candy treat with Lukers |
| Breakfast before heading out |
