May the Fourth Be With You

We had an awesome 4th of July again this year.  It really is always such a fun holiday.  It was jam packed, just the way we like it!  We hosted several of Matt's college out of town friends for a couple nights for the first part of the long weekend, and then Mom and Dad stayed over for a couple nights on the back half.  After attending the super fun pool party at Uncle David's house in IN, Matt and I headed to a lovely dinner party at Kevin Walgreen's house while Mom and Dad watched the kids.  I work with Kevin quite frequently and he also lives in Lake Forest.  It was an honor to be invited to his party and quite the fun experience meeting his wife and seeing his gorgeous home, all of his Walgreens memorabilia, and other cool collector items.  Then on the 4th we did our favorite parade and fireworks combo, made even more fun with Mom and Dad here to help us celebrate.

Claire won this unicorn at one of the carnival games, and when Mom asked what her unicorn's name was she said "Horny".  Bahahahaha!  She wasn't sure why we all thought that was so funny.
