Matt's Birthday & Daisy

Matt's birthday was on Monday and he got a little celebration of his own.  I had to go to DC for work that day, unfortunately, so after a little birthday breakfast in the morning, that night Donna and Emil celebrated Matt by making him his favorite meal.  Happy Birthday Daddy/Matt!
Kids are still crawling in bed with us almost every morning.  That space between the kids is where I sleep:)  I love the snuggles.

In the morning all 5 of us are snoozing in the same room and all is right in the world:)

Birthday boy!!

Birthday buddies eating breakfast with the unicorns of course.

My swanky hotel room in DC

Went for a little run around the capitol

So lovely!

When I came home from my business trip this beautiful Mini Cooper was in the garage with a  red bow on it for me!!  Can you believe my husband?!  Isn't he the best?!

Such a sweet card that Matt wrote me.  What a keeper.

I have been coveting this car for years - a pre-owned off white automatic convertible Mini Cooper.  Perfect and Matt found one nearby after scouring the country for a year!

I LOOOOOOOVE IT!!!  I named her Daisy, a super cute name for a super cute car.

Rebecca and Peter had their baby on the 28th!  Welcome to the world little Winifred.

Speaking of Daisies, Luke was selected to be in the community-wide "Emerging Artist Exhibit" for his daisy picture.  Only two kids from all three of the Cherokee Elementary School Kindergarten classes were selected to be in the exhibit.  We're so proud of our Lukers!

Drove my new car to work the next day.  Can't wait for some warm days to take advantage of the convertible part.

Family trip in the new car.  We can all fit in the little car, its like a clown car though.

Claire and Alexandra play together like everyday.

The kids watch shows at 7pm before bed, and Luke took a picture of the clock to come and show me that it was almost shows time.
