This week in April....

Rhododendrons blooming!

Moon was still out one morning when I went out for a run before work

Special trip to Starbucks to get the limited edition Unicorn Frappuchino.  

We went for Claire since she loves unicorns, and then she chose a cake pop instead!

Went to Luke's school one of the days this week for one of his Inquiry classes presentations.

Lunch al fresco, loving the warmer weather!  Matt got out all the patio furniture.

We ripped out a couple bushes and put down more bluestone to make more patio area for the couch set to come over to this side where we think it will get a lot more use.

We put this used glider I bought last year out by the front door, so nice to have somewhere to sit out there now.

Giant playdate and Matt was the only Dad.

Smelt-o-rama at the lakefront and we could finally go this year!  Not many smelt were caught that night, but Luke loved the process.

They let the kids pull up the nets.  Here is one little smelt.

They had caught some earlier in the week that they breaded and fried up to serve at the event that night.  Luke and Matt ate a bunch, Claire did not.  

Luke has been growing this bean plant in our kitchen window and it has gotten so tall!
