This week was a big one! Celebrated my birthday, Claire's first ever official dance recital and Mother's Day. Kicked off summer with a boat ride in our brand new boat, and a swim in the pool.

| Isolene does amazing hair-do's. See the heart hair part, the three braids are coming out of the middle of it. |
| My friend Hannah, who has a side bakery business, was in cahoots with Matt to make me my favorite cake ever! She texted Matt asking him what my favorite cake was, so he asked me what my fave cake was, not telling me Hannah had texted him. I answered "Hannah's chocolate bundt cake", no lie! The next day I met Hannah for lunch and she had this cake baked for me. Awesome!!! |
| Cleaning out my office at Walgreens and Matt and the kids came to pick up my office mini-fridge and a bunch of other stuff. |
| PF Chang's, my birthday dinner choice with Matt and the kids:) |
| Went home for the real deal birthday dessert. |
| Dance Recital prep has felt a little overwhelming, not gonna lie. Special outfits, tights, shoes, hair bun nets, makeup, where does it end? She's 4 years old!! Isolene volunteered to come over on a Saturday to help with the special bun! I didn't say no to the help... |
| I did makeup |
| There's our Cinderella ballet dancer! |
| They didn't allow pictures during the show, but here she is afterwards. She did great! |
| Breakfast in bed on Mother's Day served on a platter made by Luke! Also coffee served in a ceramic mug made by Luke. |
| Purse Mother's Day craft from Luke, so cute. |
| Brand new boat! Matt and Emil sold the Claire Mae and we gave the Skateboard Store back to Donna and Emil, and Matt researched extensively and bought this beauty! The biggest boat we could get that could fit in our garage, be towed by our car, and it fits 13 people. Can't wait for a fun summer of boating with friends. |
| The kids love the bathroom. They just hang out in there. |
| Swimming season has begun! Notice Claire swimming... |
| and Grandpa in jeans and a coat. Ha! |
