The first weekend in September was a big one for us! It was Labor Day Weekend, Luke's 7th Birthday Party, Luke's 7th Birthday PLUS Mom and Dad came back to the Midwest from Florida. Wonderful to see Mom doing so well after her transplant and having them back in the Midwest and so accessible is awesome. Woo hoo for having them with us all weekend, too! In usual Baranko fashion, we did the whole weekend up right with lots of fun activities before Luke's big turtle party.[Cliche comment coming-->] I can't believe my baby is 7 years old!! (Well, it is true, even if it is cliche!) Love you baby boy. You'll always be my little stinkers.

| Turtle Party!! Luke asked for his party to be "river cooter" themed, which is a fresh water turtle. His summer wildlife camp education is really sticking. Kind of a difficult theme (sea turtles are a lot more prevalent for turtle party decor, fyi) but Matt found "The Frog Lady" who in addition to frogs and snakes, also brings live turtles to her presentation. He continues to outdo himself in the "awesome Dad" department. These kids are sure spoiled! |
