London and Oslo

The day Matt returned from Puerto Rico, I left for a week in Europe for work.  We had about 20 minutes overlap for a quick smooch and a catch up before parting ways.  This was the longest we have been away from each other in years!

Hello and goodbye!

Missed these crazy kids!

London was uneventful - stuck at an airport hotel for two days.  But Oslo was neat!  This was my view from my hotel room.

Gym was on the top floor of the cool historic hotel.

Great views while you are working out

My boss, Diane, and I walked around a bit during the few hours we had free on the day we arrived.  Traditional Norwegian dress.

Streets were so cute.

I read about this quaint street on TripAdvisor and dragged Diane to come see it with me.

It was really cute!  But the slippery ice was so dangerous!  Diane fell a couple times and we saw so many people wipe out.

Trying to walk along the edges to keep our balance.

This was a sheet of ice!  I felt so bad for a poor lady with a stroller trying to get down without harming herself or her baby.

Entering the market area

We had a great meal at the market at this restaurant called Vulkanfisk.  We both had fish, of course!

On a conference call on our way to the airport

Goodbye Oslo!

Meanwhile, back at home Luke had a dentist appointment and was moved up to the big kid area!
