Rest in Peace Grammy

Matt's grandmother, Donna's mother, Imogene (Eichinger) Herrin, passed away in May.  She was a wonderful grandmother and vibrant, classy lady.  I got to spend many good times with her in my time in the Baranko/Eichinger family, and she was always very welcoming and kind to me.  In the last several years of her life she suffered from Alzheimer's and I know it was hard on Matt's Mom and Dad, as well as all the other family members, to watch her slip away.  She is at peace now, though, and we celebrate her beautiful life.

This week back in May Claire graduated from preschool!  Cannot believe our baby is done with preschool and will be going to Kindergarten in the Fall.  After 5 years of Kinderhaven Preschool Academy we say goodbye to that wonderful school, and Matt and I are officially done with the kids-in-preschool chapter of our lives in general, which feels very strange.  We are proud of our smart and beautiful baby girl!

Blooming crab apples are beautiful

Game night at Rebecca's

White peach sangria, the boozy fruit at the bottom is the best part!

Rebecca got a birthday cake for me and Jenna, and had a little mishap in bringing it in from the kitchen (with the candles lit!).  Oopsies!  It was sooooo hilarious.

Burnt table chair will forever be a reminder of the fun evening.

My impressive salad that I brought to dinner group at the McCarney's

Planting time!  Claire helping me bring over the fruits and veggies to plant in the garden.

Luke bringing over soil.  Such good helpers.

New nautical mirror, I love it!

Planting all of my pots for the year

Claire gets attached to a stuffed animal and brings it everywhere and is obsessed with it, then moves on to a different one with barely any notice.  She got Garfield as her graduation present and is currently obsessed with him.
