Charleston!...I mean Austin!

Last year I went to Nashville with my friends Kate and Rebecca & Kara (sisters extraordinaire), and we had such a fun time that this year we had planned to go to Charleston for a long weekend.  A couple days before our trip was planned we learned that Hurricane Michael was headed straight for North Carolina.  Boo!!  Our flights were cancelled and we had to choose whether to reschedule the trip, cancel the trip or go to another destination.  We regrouped quickly and decided on a new destination, Austin, Texas for the same weekend!  I'm so proud of our flexibility.  We had a really fun time, it really is a city meant for girls trips.  These ladies are the best!  Charleston will have to wait for us until next year.

We got a quick update email from Luke's teacher, things are going great:

Hi Matt and Kelly,

Hope you had a great week! We wanted to send you a quick email to let you know what a wonderful week Luke has had. He is so incredibly responsible, respectful, and has become a leader in our class.

He is also very hard working and motivated. His enthusiasm and excitement for learning is infectious. From our parent survey, we noticed that you wanted him to work on slowing down and taking his time. Although he is working at a faster pace, he has overall been doing a nice job with this. We will continue to support him in this area.

We love having him in 2NF!

Have an awesome weekend,
Liz and Jenny
