We went down to the Peoria area to pick up our new 8 week old Brittany puppy from a breeder a friend of mine recommended. We stayed overnight so that we could choose our pup first thing on Monday morning. We were glad that Luke and Claire both agreed immediately on the same puppy in the litter, so Otto came home with us and is such a love. So excited to have a puppy to grow with our family.

| Another litter of puppies almost ready to go home. This was the litter we thought we were getting a puppy from, but then it didn't work out because two of the puppies weren't growing as quickly as they should, and because of reservation order we also weren't guaranteed a dark brown (called liver) or male puppy, which is what we thought we wanted. Then we picked Otto from the earlier litter, and he is male and liver colored, so our hunch of what we wanted was correct! |
