The past couple of weekends we have had some nice downtime. With time on our hands, and the baby's arrival imminent, we have been in a serious organizational/nesting mode. It is addictive! It started with the work we had to do to clean out the guest room for Luke to move in there, then Matt reorganized the whole basement, then it was the hall closet, then the front closet. It is liberating to get rid of things you haven't looked at or used in 3+ years and to open a closet that is well organized and not brimming full of stuff! Love it!
We're officially ready for baby now, picking up a few odds and ends (like size 0 diapers!) and getting little drawers full of little clothes. Last weekend I treated myself to a wonderful prenatal massage, which really helped ease my sore back. Matt and I had a date night, too, thanks to babysitting from Donna and Emil. We had a scrumptious dinner and enjoyed some awesome live music at nearby Lovell's. Lastly, we really took advantage of the snow we finally got (it took until February to have any real accumulation)! Luke helps Matt shovel the driveway every chance he gets. We got to make a snowman with him for the first time and went sledding for the first time. Matt also made him an adorable snow school bus, since his all time favorite song is "Wheels on the Bus". He even sprayed it with yellow food coloring, but sadly the rain the next day erased it all before we got a picture with the yellow on it. All the snow time and family time was awesome, we had so much fun!

| Making a fort in the family room is Luke's new obsession. He spends as much time on top of his fort as he spends in it! |
 |
| Having "milk and iPad" time before bed in his fort, with just his little feet sticking out. |
 |
| Luke's new room! He picked our where to put the decals on his wall by himself, which is why you see all the trucks, scooters, trains and cars clustered in no particular order. |

| We got dumped on with snow last Thursday, over a foot and great packing snow to boot! It was so beautiful driving through our neighborhood with all the huge mature tree branches covered with snow. |
Videos of Luke's FIRST TIME sledding - with Daddy and then by himself! Both resulted in wipe outs:)

| Happy sledder:) |
 |
| Spumoni loved the sledding outing too. This little hill is just down the street from us in our neighborhood. Matt and I said to each other, "Some day Luke is just going to walk to this hill and sled here with his friends!" Until then, he's all ours:) |

| Giving our snowman a hug. Luke named him "Tommy". |
