We spent the weekend in Wisconsin visiting G&G Mackus enjoying quality holiday time. So nice to have a relaxing weekend there instead of a quick trip. Earlier that week Isolene had hosted a big kid holiday party playdate. Lots of Luke & Claire's little friends came over for very creative holiday crafts and holiday themed food.
| Luke wanted to put out Christmas cookies for Santa beginning Dec 12th - I'm sure definitely NOT because he wanted easy access to the cookie jar! |
| The playdate started with reindeer pancakes with, yes, bacon antlers! |
| Looks like there was lots of kid wrangling going on during the crafts! |
| Luke, Joey, Ryan, Claire, Anthony, Alexandra |
| cutie pie Anthony |
| An old photo I found on my phone of "the dreadlock" in the flesh before its demise. |
| The elf on the shelf is a big hit, but who hasn't heard of the beloved "Kid in the Sink"? |
| Dinnertime in WI - feed me! |
There were so many special moments of Mom sharing her ornament collection with Claire & Luke. They loved looking at them, especially the ones that were "magic" and did things (played music, lit up, moved). Ornament obsession appreciation passing to the next generation:) |
| Bowling! |
| The kid is flexible, that's for sure |
| Making Christmas cookies with Grandma, the memory making abounds! |
