Mother's Day

Mother's Day weekend was wonderful!  Perfect weather on Saturday for lots of outdoor time, and then Sunday the weather wasn't so great, but we still had plenty of super-fun outdoor time and yummy food, too.  #blessed

Happy Mother's Day to my Mom and Matt's Mom, too!  Love you and grateful we are all safe, even if we couldn't be together.

Claire has started to write music for her home-made rubber band ukulele

We're so impressed she is writing all the notes and making the music herself.

Crabapple bushes about to bloom

Running races

Claire bought a stuffed animal from Amazon with her own money, so was anxiously waiting for the delivery to come.

It is here!

And that is when Puddles the dog joined our family

We've been doing a lot of jump roping during outdoor time of learning

Single and double jump ropes.  She counts as high as she can keep jumping without stopping and then tries to beat her score.

Flowers from our yard

The pear trees look amazing

Longest family bike ride to date - 9 miles!  Puddles came too.

Back to the Future in the pool!

Mini-orchid from Donna and Emil

Claire has grown a full inch in 2 months! Pandemic growth spurt.

The growth chart that Uncle Bob and Aunt Kathy gave us when Luke was a baby is still in good use!

Rain started during our morning coffee

Rain hike in Open Lands!  A train went over us when we were there, it was cool.

Mother's Day takeout steak dinner - yummm
