Summer-like Weekend

Such a fun stay-at-home-order week back in early May!

I love our landscaping in the Spring when everything starts booming one after another.

A pandemic miracle!  Our ice dispenser works after years and years and years of being broken.  Mr. Fix-It fixed it.

Pear trees about to bust open even more than they are now

The big fort is going strong and providing plenty of entertainment

It has expanded somewhat to allow for sleeping a family of four, with dog.

It was a fabulous night of sleep in the big fort:)

Meatball contest with the Dinner Group.  I made Grandma Della's famous cocktail meatballs, thanks to Aunt Sue, Katie and Melissa enlightening me on the recipe.

Every couple had to make their meatballs and drop them off on the doorstep of the other people.  It was amazing. The variation of meatballs was astounding!  The Gowski's won with a delicious spicy mixture of beef, veal, pork and sausage.  Yum.

My new shirt is awesome, obviously.

Blooming pear trees and greened-up grass makes our yard look so pretty.

I had some helpers with planting my front pots.

Luke has gotten really into basketball during the pandemic

Sunny days are for gardening and basketball and swimming

and badminton

Matt picked up the boat from winter storage.  Looking forward to getting out on that when the city opens the boat ramp.

Outdoor board games, so fun

Virburnum blooming

Take-out craft cocktails, this pandemic has everything!

Outdoor movie night

Otto liked all the dogs on the screen

Homemade cinnamon rolls - they are a lot of work!  Prefer the ones that come from my friend Pillsbury.

Outdoor visit with Donna and Emil, admiring their flowers

Luke found a crawfish in their stream

She found a feather and lots of dandelions

The sand pit is now the rock pit

Beautiful magnolia tree at our next door neighbor's house

Cloudy Monday morning

Worked from the lake house for a few hours before heading back home at lunchtime.

40th Birthday gift from Mom and Dad - awesome new ski coat

Ready to swoosh down those slopes in style!
