The kids took a few weeks of snowboard lessons at nearby Wilmot Mountain, and they did really well. The first week took some encouragement for an unhappy-student Claire, but then it went ok for the next two lessons. She didn't want to take lessons in the first place, and then she was put with a group of kids she didn't know instead of with Luke and our other friends who were also taking lessons. But after she was placed in the group with her friends and started getting the hang of it, she got into it and did a great job. Luke loved it and took to it very quickly.
